Download and Install Mobile Application

  1. Open Google Play Store (Android) or App Store (iOS).
  2. Search for "Haj Suvidha Mobile Application".
  3. Select and install the "HAJ SUVIDHA" app.
  4. Open the app after installation.
  5. Begin using the app for your needs.

First time Setup Permissions

  1. Open the "Haj Suvidha" app after installation.
  2. Allow Push Notifications: Click on "Allow" when prompted.
  3. Grant Camera Access: Click on "Allow" and select "While Using the app" when prompted.
  4. Allow Microphone Access: Click on "Allow" and select "While Using the app" when prompted.
  5. Enable Location Service with "Allow all the time" option: Click on "Allow" and select "Allow all the time" when prompted.
  6. Proceed to the Login screen and log in to the app.

Selection of Language

Here are the steps you can follow to change the language in the "Haj Suvidha" app:

  1. Install and open the "Haj Suvidha" app on your device.
  2. Before logging in, locate the three dots or menu icon usually found in the right corner of the login screen.
  3. Tap on the three dots to open a menu of options.
  4. Look for the language option among the menu items.
  5. Choose the convenient language for the appearance of titles in the app.

Before Login Options for Pilgrims

  1. Install and open the "Haj Suvidha" app on your device.
  2. Before logging in, locate the three dots or menu icon usually found in the right corner of the login screen.
  3. Tap on the three dots to open a menu of options. Inside this menu, users can find the following options:
    • - Haj Support: Access supported videos, animated videos, documents, and help desk details.
    • - Language: Change the language of title appearances in the app.
    • - FAQs: Find answers to common questions regarding Haj Suvidha.
    • - Privacy Policy: View the app's privacy policy as per guidelines.

First Time Login with OTP and M PIN Set

  1. After successfully installing and opening the "Haj Suvidha" app, proceed to the login screen.
  2. Enter your registered mobile number and Captcha as displayed on the login screen.
  3. Choose "Login with OTP."
  4. You will receive an OTP (One-Time Password) on the provided mobile number.
  5. Enter the OTP in the designated field within the app.
  6. Upon successful OTP verification, you will be prompted to set an M-PIN (6-digit PIN) which will be used for future logins instead of generating OTPs.

Login With OTP

  1. After successfully installing and opening the ""Haj Suvidha"" app, proceed to the login screen.
  2. Enter your registered mobile number and Captcha as displayed on the login screen.
  3. Choose ""Login with OTP."
  4. You will receive an OTP (One-Time Password) on the provided mobile number.
  5. Enter the OTP in the designated field within the app.
  6. Upon successful OTP verification, you will be redirected to Dashboard.

Login With M-PIN

  1. After successfully installing and opening the "Haj Suvidha" app, proceed to the login screen.
  2. Enter your registered mobile number and Captcha as displayed on the login screen.
  3. Choose "Login with M-PIN."
  4. Enter the M-PIN that was previously created either by yourself or created by Coverhead from their login.
  5. Upon successful M-PIN verification, you will be logged in successfully and redirected to the Dashboard.

Forgot your M-PIN

If a user forgets their created M-PIN, they can recreate it themselves by following these steps:

  1. Navigate to the "Forgot M-PIN" option on the login screen of the "Haj Suvidha" app.
  2. Provide the following details on the follow-up page:
    • - Mobile Number
    • - Date of Birth
    • - Passport Number
  3. Enter the new M-PIN in the "New M-PIN" field.
  4. Confirm the new M-PIN by entering it again in the "Confirm M-PIN" field.
  5. Verify that all requested parameters match the user's records.
  6. If all details match, the new M-PIN will be successfully saved for future logins.

View SOS

  1. Accessing the View SOS Feature:
    • - Log in to the KUH dashboard using your credentials.
    • - Locate and click on the "View SOS" icon from the dashboard.
  2. Viewing List of SOS Requests:
    • - Once in the View SOS section, a list of SOS requests raised by assigned coverids' pilgrims will appear.
  3. Reviewing SOS Details:
    • - Each SOS entry will include the following details:
    • - Attached video or audio content: Click on the attachment to view or listen to the content.
    • - SOS ID: Identify each SOS request by its unique ID for tracking purposes.
    • - Location of SOS generated: View the exact location on the map where the SOS was generated.
    • - Pilgrim Information: Access information about the pilgrim who raised the SOS.
    • - City Identification: Identify the city from where the SOS was raised.
  4. Taking Action on SOS Requests:
    • - Based on the urgency and nature of the SOS request, take appropriate actions to assist the pilgrim in need as a first responder.

Know Your Group KUH

  1. Accessing the "Know Your Group" Feature:
    • - Log in to the KUH dashboard using your credentials.
    • - Locate and click on the "Know Your Group" feature.
  2. Viewing Assigned Cover IDs:
    • - Upon accessing the feature, a list of all assigned cover IDs will appear.
    • - The total pilgrim count for each cover ID will be displayed next to it.
    • - Use the expand icon to view individual cover IDs and their members.
  3. Using Search Functionality:
    • - Utilize the search functionality at the top to enter keywords and find specific pilgrim details quickly.
  4. Viewing Individual Cover ID Details:
    • - Click on the expand icon next to an individual cover ID to view its members.
    • - Each member's details will include:
    • - Last location of the user.
    • - Full details of the pilgrim, including flight and accommodation details.
    • - Locations of the accommodation and flight details.
  5. Accessing Detailed Pilgrim Information:
    • - Click on any individual member to access their full details, including:
    • - Last location of the user on the map.
    • - Comprehensive pilgrim information, such as name, contact details, and emergency contacts.
    • - Flight details, including flight number, arrival/departure time, and airport information.
    • - Accommodation details, including location, room number, and check-in/check-out times.

Grievances

  1. Accessing the Grievances Tab:
    • - Log in to the KUH dashboard using your credentials.
    • - Navigate to the Grievances tab from the dashboard menu.
  2. Viewing List of Grievances:
    • - Upon accessing the Grievances tab, a list of grievances raised by assigned cover IDs' pilgrims will be displayed.
    • - Each grievance entry includes all filled details provided by the pilgrims.
  3. Receiving Push Notifications:
    • - Khadims receive push notifications for new grievances raised by pilgrims within their assigned groups.
    • - Notifications alert Khadims to urgent issues, enabling them to act as first responders.
  4. Responding to Grievances:
    • - Review the details of each grievance, including the nature of the issue and the pilgrim's information.
    • - Take appropriate actions to resolve the grievance promptly and provide assistance to the pilgrim.
  5. Resolving Issues as a First Responder:
    • - Utilize the information provided in the grievance details to address the issue effectively.
    • - Communicate with the pilgrim and relevant authorities to resolve the grievance urgently

Luggage List

  1. Access "Luggage List" Option:
    • - From the dashboard of the Haj Suvidha app, locate and click on the "Luggage List" option.
  2. "Luggage List" Section:
    • - Upon accessing the "Luggage List" option, you will see two tabs: "Luggage List" and "Misplaced Luggage."
  3. "Luggage List" Tab:
    • - Inside the "Luggage List" tab, three pre-finalized luggage items will be available as per the standard instructions by HCoI.
    • - Each luggage item in the list includes details such as:
    • 1. Photo that users can upload or manage.
    • 2. Description entered by the user.
    • 3. Last location if someone scanned the QR code attached to the luggage.
  4. Activation Process:
    • - For first-time users, they need to scan the QR code of the luggage to activate it from the application.
  5. Options for Individual Luggage:
    • - In the list, on the right corner of every individual luggage, there is a three-dot menu. Clicking on it will prompt the following options:
    • 1. Add/Update Luggage Details.
    • 2. View QR Code.
    • 3. View Luggage Photograph.
    • 4. Report as Misplaced Luggage.
    • 5. Last Known Location.
  6. "Misplaced Luggage" Tab:
    • - In the "Misplaced Luggage" tab, all reported misplaced luggage of the user will appear with submission details and status.

Scan Luggage

  1. Accessing "Scan Luggage" Option:
    • - Open the Haj Suvidha app and navigate to the dashboard.
    • - Locate and click on the "Scan Luggage" option.
  2. Scanning QR Code:
    • - Use the app's scanning feature to scan the QR code of the luggage.
    • - Upon scanning, a URL will appear based on the scan result.
  3. Viewing Owner Details:
    • - Click on the URL to redirect to a page where the luggage owner's details will populate.
    • - Identify the pilgrim with its respective Khadim details also available on the page.
  4. Updating Last Location:
    • - Through scanning, the last location of the luggage will be updated in the system automatically.
  5. Receiving Push Notification:
    • - The luggage owner will receive a push notification regarding the update in the last location of their luggage.
  6. Navigation to Pilgrim and Khadim Locations:
    • - If the location is synchronized through the app, users can navigate to the last locations of pilgrims and Khadims.
    • - Click on the navigation icon to initiate navigation to the respective locations.

Lost and Found

  1. Accessing "Lost and Found" Option:
    • - Open the Haj Suvidha app and navigate to the dashboard.
    • - Locate and click on the "Lost and Found" option.
  2. Viewing List of Articles:
    • - Inside the "Lost and Found" option, users will see a list of articles received by the command center.
    • - Each article will be accompanied by a photograph and details.
  3. Viewing Article Details:
    • - Click on an article from the list to view its full details, including:
      • 1. Photograph: Visual representation of the article.
      • 2. Description: Details about the article, such as type, color, size, etc.
      • 3. Location Found: Where the article was found or received.
      • 4. Contact Information: Details to contact for claiming the article.
  4. Claiming an Article:
    • - If the user identifies an article as their lost item, they can claim it by selecting the "Claim" option provided.
    • Follow the instructions to complete the claiming process.

Daily Report

  1. Access "Daily Report" Option:
    • - Open the Haj Suvidha app and navigate to the dashboard.
    • - Locate and click on the "Daily Report" option.

User have to fill up the daily report form as assigned during pilgrimage.

Announcement

  1. Announcements Feature:
    • - Users will receive every broadcasted announcement from the Control and Command center via push notification.
  2. Announcement List:
    • - All received announcements will appear in a list format within the app.
    • - Each announcement entry will include:
    • 1. Title: The title of the announcement.
    • 2. Description: Details or content of the announcement.
    • 3. Date and Time Stamp: Timestamp indicating when the announcement was broadcasted.
    • 4. Translation Option: Users can access a translation option for each announcement.
      • - Clicking on the translation option redirects the user to Google Translate.
      • - This feature allows users to translate the announcement content into multiple available languages supported by Google Translate.

This setup ensures that users stay informed about announcements from the Control and Command center, with the added convenience of translation options to understand the announcement content in different languages.

Change/ Update M-PIN

If a logged-in user wants to change their M-PIN in the Haj Suvidha app, they can follow these steps:

  1. From the dashboard, click on the three-line menu located in the left corner.
  2. In the menu, select "My Profile."
  3. Inside the "My Profile" section, locate the "Change/Update M-PIN" option.
  4. Click on the "Change/Update M-PIN" option to proceed.
  5. On the following page, the user can create a new M-PIN for their accessibility.
  6. Enter the new M-PIN.
  7. Confirm the new M-PIN by entering it again.
  8. Once the new M-PIN is successfully confirmed, it will be updated for the user's accessibility within the app.

Joining Form

  1. Access "Joining Form" Option:
    • - Open the Haj Suvidha app and navigate to the Navigation drawer (Hamburger Menu).
    • - Locate and click on the "Joining Form" option.

Users are required to fill up the Joining Form once when joining the pilgrimage, as assigned.

Translate

In the Navigation Drawer (Hamburger Menu) of the Haj Suvidha app, there's an option called "Translate." When users tap on this option, the app redirects them to Google Translate. Google Translate offers several features:

  1. Text Translation: Users can input text in one language and get the translated version in another language. This is useful for understanding written content such as signs, menus, or instructions in different languages.
  2. Speech Translation: Users can speak in one language, and Google Translate will convert it into text and then translate it into the desired language. This feature aids in verbal communication when interacting with individuals who speak different languages.
  3. Image or Website Translation: Google Translate can also translate text from images or entire websites. Users can take a picture of written text, and Google Translate will provide the translated version. Additionally, users can enter the URL of a website to have it translated into their preferred language.

Co-ordinator Info

In the Navigation Drawer (Hamburger Menu) of the Haj Suvidha app, there's an option called "Coordinator Info." When users tap on this option, the app shows them the details of assigned coordinators like name and Contact number.

Haj Support
